Wondering what James Tucker, the director behind AUNT ROSE, SKINNED ALIVE and PINK EYE, has been up to as of late? After finally wrapping up on FLICKS CHICKS (a non-horror romantic comedy), Tucker is returning to directing that which we drool for, more edgy horror. This time its via a vampire web-based series called THE TURNING. Tucker broke the news to Bloody-Disgusting and had this to say: “I am just finishing pre-productions and casting on a web series called, The Turning. The first cast meeting is scheduled for the second week on November. It’s a dark, character driven story about a woman who is bitten by a vampire and struggles with the transformation. If all goes well, I plan to shoot the last two weeks in November. After the web series run of twelve, 10 minute episodes, my plan is to create a feature length, horror film that picks up where the web series leaves off.” Newcomers Yvette Bass and Arielle Brachfeld (Return of the Ghostbusters) have signed on thus far.
