Magnolia Home Entertainment has announced Splinter (review), which stars Shea Whigham, Paulo Costanzo, and Jill Wagner. The Toby Wilkins directed horror will be available to own on January 27th, and should retail at around $26.98. Extras will include deleted scenes and behind the scenes featurettes. A young couple has retreated to the wilderness for a romantic camping weekend-but the trip quickly spirals into a nightmare when they are car-jacked by an escaped convict and his girlfriend. Thrown together by chance, no one can imagine the terrifying horror that awaits the two couples at a remote and isolated gas station.
HorrorFan101; I saw this at home on a Pre-Theatrical release pay-per-view deal (how cool is that?) It is a really good movie - you will like it. Those two review guys who do that At The Movies show liked it too. :)
