B-D Review: 'Animals' One of the Worst Horror Films Ever Made
Tuesday, November 18, 2008

This weekend I sat down to watch the highly anticipated Animals, the big budget adaptation to Craig Spector's novel about man's internal rage. What I witnessed was nothing short of an atrocity. "ANIMALS fails on every single level and left me in a state of shock. When it was all said and done I would have needed to fill an entire notebook to list all of the problems. I highly recommend watching this film only to witness what is one of the single worst horror movies ever made. Although difficult to make it from start to finish, it’s so bad that it actually becomes captivating... I think credit it due for Director Arnold Cassius (a pseudonym for Douglas Aarniokoski) who turns in quite possibly one of the worst horror films ever made." Click the title above for the full review.

This looks terrible. It got a 10/10 review on IMDB — but I'm "sure" it has nothing to do with the reviewer being a crew member on the film. anyway, i'm eager to see if this could be worse than zombies gone wild, the tomb, or wicked lake. i doubt it, but you never know

Way to cut it up chief. As much as we love the genre, it is our responsibility to all to weed out the crap! Other zeros: The Morgue, Horrors of War, The Toybox. For God sakes! Run people!!! RUN!!!

This movie got released on dvd. And we are still waiting for any kind of release for Trick R' Treat, The Poughkeepsie Tapes, and Paranormal Activity. The wrong movies are sliding through. The studios must have the shit filter in backwards or something.

Wait... What are you saying? Did you not like it? Mr. D you are SOOO not being upfront about how you feel. Are you sure you didn't see "The Happening"? Now there was a flying turd biscuit heading towards a fan.

I would bet my left nut this movie is the greatest movie in the world next to Twilight. We all know Mr. Disgusting has a huge hard on for that piece of shit.

i will be interested to see how this banks on my top 5 most hated horror films which include : Mr. Jingles, The Tomb, Dark Reality, Soul Survivors, and the Machined (and Feed). Nothing like getting through an honestly terrible horror film, so I will have to watch to see how it stacks up

How can you call Twilight a piece of shit? Granted I'm sure its going to suck. but its unfair to judge a film before you see it. Hell, before it release.

I agree with coldblood i mean i saw a trailer for Trick R' Treat so damn long ago and iam pretty sure it said it was being released shortly and that must have been at least a year ago. Then i saw a add for it coming to DVD and that was a while ago to :( . Same with the Poughkeepsie tapes.
