Hmm... I've been waiting for this for years. I have fond childhood memories of the show. SciFi has been running the show recently as a local broadcast channel here in Chicago, so I've been TiVoing them like crazy for the past six months and I have to say... not as good as I remember. Some of the stories aren't so great and the obviously minuscule budget doesn't help. I recorded most of the best episodes (well, the ones I think are best, anyway): "In the Closet" (featuring Lizzie, a great creature/puppet by Savini), "Trick or Treat" (another nice Savini creature, he also directed the episode), and "The Circus" (directed by Michael Gornick, Romero's DP for MARTIN through DAY, and I believe director of CREEPSHOW 2). Still missing "Anniversary Dinner", but its bound to show up on TV sooner or later. A lot will depend on the price. Over $30 might be pushing it. Not sure how many seasons there were (5 maybe?), but I'm sort of skeptical about TV series on DVD in terms of how often I'll watch them. On the other hand, I picked up NIGHT GALLERY S2 and I'm not regretting it. In any event, nice to finally see this show get some attention.
