Beyond the break you'll find the new scenes from Summit Entertainment's vampire-drama Twilight, which just aired on a commercial break during "Heroes". Catherine Hardwicke's adaptation is about a high school girl named Bella falls in love with a vampire. The new couple leads a rival vampire clan to pursue them and attempt to force her to decide if she, too, wishes to become one of the undead.

Is it just me, or does Twilight look like Dawson's Creek with vampires?

It's not just you, it looks like it to me too lol. I love how they threw a long-haired wig on one of the guys to make him look more "vampire-ish". How's that for stereotyping.

It's pretty much is an emo-vampire movie where these "vampires" can go out in daylight if its cloudy what the cock is that shit

Sad that movies like Trick R' Treat (which is friggin' excellent, btw) and Amusement (which I'm still dying to see) cannot find a distributor, yet this garbage is whored to the masses. I guess advertising during Heroes is an indication of its quality.

I agree. This looks like some high school cheese teen flick, which is fine if your in that age group.I'm sure it will be popular among the kids with the cute vampire boys and girls. I wouldn't consider this a REAL horror offering. I would need real convincing to even rent this.

chronic ash, there's NO way in hell this will bomb. there are 2 kajillion young girls (and me, i'm ashamed to say! lol) who will be going to this. it's already a sure fire hit. the lead vamp guy was doing a mall appearance (i saw on CNN) and there were over 3000 people waiting/wanting to see him. and that's only in 1 town. multiply 3000 x nationwide and you've got box office gold.

twilight should not be covered on a horror website. it belongs on mtv's website, or djblack1313 myspace page. sorry homey, you set yourself up for that one. ;)

If this is the future of "horror," I may just give up and become a science-fiction fan.

B.C., what's wrong with an 18 year old guy reading Twilight? It could be a whole lot worse. He could not be reading at all. Don't like it, don't see it, guys. Yeah, it's whiny emo vampires. Let the fans enjoy it, at least the series is getting kids (and some adults) to read when they might not normally.

To tell you the truth as far as vampire movies go today if it's out at a town near you check out a movie called "let the right one in" trust me haven't heard one bad thing about it and you know how you'll know its not a bad film cause it wasn't made in hollywood so instantly makes it pretty original and no remake but seriously check it out

Irish Mic

Im still a firm believer you cannot make a pg-13 horror film it cannot be done.

Wednesday13
3:56pm, November 12, 2008

you can i mean hell a lot of the older movies made now today would be considered as pg-13 but there was no rating system really back then personally i just think that everyone wants blood, gore, and effects and as much as i enjoy that myself i do want a movie with a good story and it be original and not a remake, sequel, prequel, etc...
