One of the handful of French films we're very excited for is Yannick Dahan and Benjamin Rocher's The Horde, which follows an end of the world battle between gangsters, cops and zombies. Inside you'll find the first ever image from the film, what do you think? In order to avenge the murder of one of their own by a group of ruthless gangsters, corrupt cops four go on a rampage in a condemned building serving as the mobster's hideout. Now trapped, the officers are about to be executed when the unimaginable occurs: hordes of bloodthirsty, cannibalistic creatures invade the building, savagely attacking everyone. Unexpected alliances are made when their lives are threatened by the unthinkable.
Looks, almost, like something out of the original Alien as far as style. I'm really getting sick of zombie movies because they're pretty much all exactly the same, but this gets my attention. I'll see it.
Ahh man i thought up the idea of zombies and gangsters a few years back but never got round to writing anything on it! Oh well glad to see somebody doing it at least. I'm looking forward to this!
It sounds like it might be good, but it also sounds like an exact remake of the Japanese classic "Junk" with police/yakuza/zombies as well as last years "Gangs of The Dead" with police/gangsters/zombies.
