Some huge news comes in from tbis year's American Film Market, which is ongoing through this weekend here in Santa Monica, CA. Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions Group (SPWAG) has acquired domestic home entertainment and television distribution rights to Senator US's release slate. Three of the film acquired were the supernatural thriller Clock Tower, set to begin shooting in Los Angeles on December, the long delayed slasher film All The Boys Love Mandy Lane starring Amber Heard and Splice, a sci-fi horror that is currently in post-production and stars Adrien Brody and Sarah Polley. All of the abovementioned films will be distributed in the US by Senator's newly formed theatrical arm headed by Mark Urman.
i watched Mandy Lane online about a year ago and i was SO underimpressed. it's boring and boring. i've been really looking forward to SPLICE and Clocktower.
Mandy Lane is a cool little B movie. I assumed that because I got it a year ago on Usenet that it was already out and had run it's course. It's a fun ride and hope others find it and enjoy it too.
Ya Mandy Lane was good, but not great. It;s good to see a killer who uses a gun and doesn't wear a spooky mask, but right away you know who the killer is, except for the ending twist caught me off guard.
I interested in seeing the long-delayed Mandy Lane
