While American World Pictures has acquired worldwide rights to William Malone's Parasomnia - horrifying love story about an art student who falls in with a sleeping beauty, only to find out too late that she holds a deadly secret - Anchor Bay Entertainment has scored domestic rights to the Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden) penned Chemical Wedding, which is being released internationally by Warner Bros. Pictures. In the film a modern Cambridge professor becomes a re-incarnation of Aleister Crowley, the infamous occult scholar. AWP typically releases their horror films through Dimension Films and Genius Products, watch for an update soon. Click here for all of our ongoing AFM coverage.
I read a review of "Chemical Wedding" at dvdactive.com, and everyone seemed to agree that it really sucked. Shame as it was based on my favorite Bruce Dickinson solo album.
