When the hell is the first one hitting DVD in this US???

Can't wait for the sequel, but like SNUFFY said when are we getting a US DVD release of the original?

I am beyond fucking pumped.

Is this gonna be remade too?

Of course [REC] 2 is gonna be remade too. Julio Fernandez wants to shoot it only for cash (because he knows Quarantine will rock and there will be a Quarantine 2 movie, so the remakers will pay for the remake rights too). Smart guy.

[REC] was the scariest movie I'd ever seen on the big screen (Special midnight showing) and I seriously can't freaking wait for the sequel. Hopefully both get big releases in the States.

I absolutely loved the first one. It is on my very short list of horror movies that are actually scary, and it is, in fact, downright terrifying. I can't wait for the second one. I am not a Spanish speaker, but I don't mind subtitles, and I'll happily skip the remakes. That said, I am not sure where he can really go with this. [REC] was a pretty contained story that did not beg for a sequel. I hope he plans to actually progress the story and not just give us a repeat of the first. The "plot crunch" above had no plot elements in it, but was just a vague marketing statement.

I´ve read in Aullidos.com that the action of the film will take place a couple of hours after the ending of the first one...

i still haven't seen REC but i'm goin to very soon. I did see quarentine and i loved it. it was very intense, had me on the edge of my seat for the final 45 minutes. i'm a sucker for a good zombie movie.

In Quarantine they aren't zombies they have a sever case of rabis, which is explained in the middle of the movie. [Rec] SPOILERS is about demonic possesion so they really aren't zombie movies. so they aren't zombies Same goes for 28 Days/ Weeks Later its an infection of rage. But, [Rec 2] Should be good. I saw [Rec] right after Quarantine and it still scared me at the end. Not as much as Quarantine but its the cinematic and first time experience you'll love most. And I think [Rec] is getting released in the U.S sometime this year.
