This week's DVD release list is pretty minimal, but the lot of you should be interested in checking out the long, long, long delayed

Horror in Your House

BATTLE HEATER: Ronin/BCI

Hama, along with his assistant Michio, spends his time collecting electronic junk from other people s garbage and junkyards. When he finds a kotatsu heater (a portable heater commonly used in Japan) he considers himself a lucky man. When Hama removes a sacred seal from the heater, it turns into a man-eating machine wrecking havoc and eliminating the other tenants in the apartment building including members from a punk rock band.

CHILL: Lionsgate

Sam , an aspiring writer, takes a job as a clerk in an L.A. inner city grocery market owned by the sinister Dr. Munoz. Munoz is a former scientist who claims to have a rare skin condition that forces him to live in sub-freezing temperatures. During his work, Sam befriends an attractive neighborhood boutique owner Maria and becomes unwittingly entwined in a love triangle when she reveals that her ex-boyfriend, Detective Defazio, who is investigating the recent disappearance of two local prostitutes, is stalking her. However, it’s what Sam doesn’t know that might prove more fatal. A darker, diabolical secret lurks behind the freezer walls of his newfound employment. Sam is horrified when he discovers that Munoz died some time ago, but has kept himself alive through occult measures and the flesh that he harvests from his kidnapped victims. With Defazio off track in his investigation, Sam becomes captive in this house of horrors. Time is running out, and he must escape to save his own hide - literally.

M13DOS: Televisa/Xenon

13 suspense-filled tales of the supernatural and the unknown. Instinctive, ancestral terrors; occurrences that defy the laws of nature; inconceivable events that shatter lives - these 13 thrillers will hold the viewer captive from beginning to terrifying end.

MOSCOW ZERO: Sony Pictures

The walking dead venture through eternity in the horrifying caverns and catacombs below the thriving Russian capitol of Moscow. Owen, an American researcher, enters this asylum looking for his lost archaeologist friend only to discover that venturing into the darkness means that he will have to get past the gatekeeper of Hell, Andrey. Seduced by the terrifying secrets and desperate to continue on, Owen strikes a deal with Andrey - but is it a gentlemen's agreement or a pact with the Devil himself?

PRIMEVAL: Volume One (4-disc set): BBC/Warner

Primeval was created by Britain's ITV as a big-budget primetime Saturday rival to the success of the BBC's Doctor Who. But unlike some efforts to buy big ratings, there's actually a lot of entertainment throughout the series. The crux of the show surrounds a series of strange creatures from both the future and the past who appear to be roaming around in the present day. So what's going on? And what can be done about the dinosaur-esque creatures, big insects, and assorted parasitic life forms that are suddenly roaming the Earth? That's where professor Nick Cutter and his team come in, and the fun really begins.

REAPER: The Complete First Season (5-disc set): Lionsgate

Sam is a slacker whose world turns upside down on his 21st birthday when he learns that his parents sold his soul to the Devil. Forced to be Hell's bounty hunter, Sam, with the aid of his goofball friends, must track down evildoers and send them back where they belong.

RETURN TO SLEEPAWAY CAMP: Magnolia/Magnet (TEX’S PICK OF THE WEEK)

It's summer camp as usual at Camp Manabe where the kids torment each other for fun while the underpaid camp staff provides as little supervision as possible. Greedy camp owner Frank and junior partner Ronnie do their best to keep everyone in line, but something sinister is about to put a slash in the roster. When campers and staff mysteriously begin disappearing and turning into gruesome corpses, paranoid Ronnie can't shake the memory of a series of grisly murders that took place at Camp Arawak, where he worked two decades earlier.

TEX SAYS: It’s this or REAPER! I gotta admit, what I’ve seen of RTSC leaves a lot to be desired, but the filmmakers deserve credit for finally getting this one off the books and onto screens. So….check it out!

RTSC is awful...I recommend not wasting your time. Just rent and re-watch the original instead.

I so agree, RTSC is god awful and does not deserve the film it was filmed on period. Besides...Reaper is a way better pick than this SHITFEST!

I got REAPER a few weeks ago(thanks Lionsgate you rule!!!!) but thanks to a glitch a few weeks back I've only seen the first 40 minutes of RTSC. What I saw was terrible, but I'm a completest so I guess I gotta buy the piece of crap. CHILL looks interesting (but sadly no screener arrived for it)
