Guillermo del Toro's Hellboy comic book adaptation is finally almost here and the hype is heightening by the day. Last week a ten minute featurette was all over the web, only to be taken down on many sites this weekend. But we've still got some cool news for you. Inside is some news on what you can expect from the DVD, along with a link to a interview with Guillermo del Toro.
Click here to head on over to Latino Review to read a pretty cool interview with del Toro.
Over at DVD Answers they've got some information on the Hellboy DVD, even though the film doesn't even hit theaters until April 2, "Director Guillermo del Toro recently revealed in an interview that the theatrical cut of Hellboy will be arriving on DVD this August. This release will include a minimal amount of extra material, and the standard two hour cut of the movie. He then plans to release a two or three disc extended edition in December. This could include up to fourty-five minutes of deleted footage. A collector's set which includes a bust of Hellboy may also be available."
Helboy stars Ron Perlman, Doug Jones, Selma Blair and John Hurt. Visit the official site.
