"Duel" is freakin' classic! I just saw it for the first time a week or os ago and had a blast with it (the ending is the real kicker). Great to see some love for the ultra-campy/ultra-awesome "Maximum Overdrive" as well.

YEAH GREAT, JUST HEARD THAT TRICK OR TREAT IS BEING RELEASED THIS OCT 31ST SAW THE SECOND TRAILER AT MOVIE HUB, ONLY HAD TO WAIT SIX MONTHS. JOBLO.COM HAS IT AS WELL.

I enjoyed Maximum Overdrive, mainly for the kick-ass soundtrack by AC/DC. The only reason they agreed to do it, was because Stephen King was a fan & asked them if he could use their music. I especially liked the instrumentals, D.T. & Chase the Ace. Arguably the greatest hard-rock band ever!!! EVIL WALKS!!!!

korollocke, first of all what does Trick 'r Treat have to do with Road Horror? Second of all that trailer has been around for sometime now. And lastly, it's definitely not coming out this Halloween. There may be a showing at Mann Chinese Theater, but that's about it.

it's the second trailor i've seen, would be wbs speed to do that, release it with little fanfare on halloween, kind of like how meat train got dumped.

#2 The Devil's Rejects, Hell yeah. Good Top 10.

Not sure that some of those are "horror" - not even sure Wolf Creek can be considered a "road movie" - but whatevs. As for lesser-known additions, I would add Road Games and Dead End.
