50 Cent!? wtf? The original was so good. Once you see that name in the cast for the remake, the entire project goes to shit. You know, they had the right idea: same writer, same director... then they do this. 50 better die in the first round. That's all I have to say.

the original is so good. and i like Statham and Rourke. but 50 Cent? i agree, he needs to die in the first round. hopefully he has a small role thats just meant to draw some people in.

I just hope with Statham it doesnt become an action movie. I think he's a great actor and can play the action roles perfectly, but he needs to stay within the confines of the original.

so Sam Riley is no doubt #13, I'm guessing Statham is #6 and Rourke is one of the gamblers, but who the hell would 50 Cent even play? I'm guessing theyll change it up a bit to add someone like him in. Then again, there's very minimal dialogue between the contestants, so maybe he won't really act much. The original is so dramatic that I think it could work with the actors theyve chosen so far.

Its bad enough that we have to listen to these fake gangstas bragging about how much money they have every time we turn on the radio but now it seems every movie made is sure to have a rapper in it.Dont these pricks make enough money with their (c)rap music that they have to ruin movies too.If a movie has a pop star of any kind in it im not interested.Even pairing DeNiro and Pachino couldn't lure me into seeing a movie with that big idiot in it.Go back to pushing crack and give us all a break.
