oh come on, f*kk the dark knight.. it wasn't even that good...
I guess that's what I get for leaving it in the hands of the masses. The only D/K thing I voted for was Heath Ledger, as it was he that MADE that movie, to hell with any other part of it.
I'd put Quarantine as the best remake but I guess it came out too late....Spike usually takes later releases into account when they do this stuff though.
I agree tom_dahm. Dark Knight way overated. This award show is not about horror films _ Sweeny Todd best horror? It makes me sick. This is for the people who have know idea what true horror is. It's laughable if it wasn't so goddamn insuting to any true fan of the genre.
i think i'm one of the few who has no desire to see the DK. give me an Xmen movie anyday! anywho, i'm psyched and happy that MILLA won best actress in SciFI movie! MILLA rules!
I liked The Dark Knight alot, but I'm sick of hearing about it. How come Cloverfield didn't win a thing? I thought THAT was a VERY innovative monster movie, and certainly better than half the crap that won.
If you're going to give an award for best of's they should be given after the year is over. How hard is that to understand?
That being said these awards should have been given for movies released in 2007 and I think the two best movies that year were 28 Weeks Later and 30 days of Night.
Never, and I mean never does a musical horror film win Best Horror Movie. Quit kissing Depp's ass, he doesn't even like us.
yeah see reading the winners of the awards I can see as others have noted that this is definetly a awards show for the "masses". I too wouldnt catergorize Sweeney Todd as horror, more musical in my opinion. While yeah I havent seen it, all the singing tends to lead me to beleive Im not missing anything. I cant do musicals.
Its just more crap to go along with the mainstream horror that is hollywood.
"rip dude, we lost a great one."
lol.
I guess he was pretty good in 10 things I hate about you...
