SpookyDan writes in with a brief skinny on Malone's forthcoming projects.
This Friday at Screamfest catch Malone's premiere of PARASOMNIA, a cautionary love story with a twisted killer, some amazing visuals - a modern day Grimm's fairy tale. We got a chance to screen the film a few days early and while there we spoke Malone about his upcoming projects. "Well, I am working on prepping three different films right now," he continues, "a wacked out horror tale, a big budget sci-fi epic, and another very dark horror project." It's all in the early stages now, so watch for updates as they come in.
YO Spooky Dan!!!! I saw it on Friday at Scramfest. I loved it! Bloody Cheerleaders, Freak your head visuals, it's a total crazy ass ride. Jeffery Coombs is hilaious. Patrick Kilpatrick is WACKED and the sleeping beauty is DOPE! You gotta check it out.
Hey, I saw it Friday too! It's really really good! It's really beautiful movie. Loved the other world the girl dreams about and bitchin weird ass scene at the end. The bloody stuff was right on! I can't even begin to describe the story, good luck reviewing it. It's just wacked and cool at the same time. They pack a whole lot of story in a hour and a half! From the bloody pics and the trailer I didn't expect to find a love story, it was quite refreshing. They did a really good job of developing the relationship between the guy and the girl and also kilpatrick as someone you never ever want to be obsessed with you! All the performances were really very good. Jeff Combs character is somewhat stereotypical, but then I couldn't really imagine any other type of cop in this movie, and he's great at it. And the girl is beautiful!! I met her in person friday and thought "I would totally leave my man for her!" We so need more hotties like her in horror! Killer Hotties in bloody cheerleader uniforms! Luv it!
