This afternoon we got our hands on the official sales poster for Jamie Blanks' Long Weekend, a remake of a pretty rad Australian film from 1978 that follows a suburban couple who take a weekend vacation in the hopes of repairing their relationship. They set out to an isolated beach where they encounter nature's revenge. Don't forget we've got the promo trailer over at BDTV. read on for the poster.
I really enjoyed the original, this looks pretty close to the same movie with some glossier camera work. I'm thinking this may be another unnecessary remake a'la .rec.
i like the poster...the dog looks like my uncles one dog.......figures, like what bloodycage said. y all the good movies (yes even some of the remakes) hae to wait for long time?
This just proves that the horror films of the 70's are the greatest movies ever because all people want to do is bring them back. Love Long Weekend, but this looks like shit, and the poster sucks.
