If you click on over to BDTV you can watch the trailer for Sony Home Entertainment's Vacancy 2: The First Cut, which arrives on DVD in January 20, 2009. The trailer features a lot of footage of Kate Beckinsale and Luke Wilson in the first film, setting up what would be footage from the prequel starring Agnes Bruckner, Lola Davidson, Angel Oquendo and David Moscow. YOu can also click the title above for a long synopsis and more info on the project, which I've heard turned out pretty damn chilling (I guess we'll know soon enough).
I'll see it. With Wrong Turn 2 and Joy Ride 2 turning out so good (even though those were from Fox) I have faith that this will be good. It wouldn't be hard for it to be better than the first.
HorrorFan101, i agree. i'm not into this considering they all die at the end. i wish this had been a new hotel in a NEW town or something. that's part of the reason why i didn't like Texas Chainsaw:The Beginning. i hate when you already know the protagonists are all going to die. i think i'll pass on this. i DO like the (what it looks like) Jason hood/sack the guy is wearing in this.
Looks decent. I think it has the potential. I'll probably rent it. For 5 bucks at least it'll be entertaining if nothing else. But I loved the first one, so I'm really hoping for the best.
I've seen this film today, and I got to say it is a really really good film. I'd recommend you watch it if you liked the first one, because if you could get into/didn't like the first one then I can really see you liking this one.
Gets my vote though.
