Ghostly Occurrences in ‘Of Silence’
We’ve got some info on a new indie horror project from WorldsLastHero Production entitled OF SILENCE, which is about a scuba diver instructor who’s mourning over the suicide of his ex-wife while dealing with strange occurrences happening that may be linked to a world beyond our own. The film is set to be directed by Jeremiah Sayys from his own screenplay. He will also star. You can check out the full synopsis inside.
This is a story about a middle class man facing hardships from our failing economy, not being able to pay the bills because of being so much in debt, because gas is so high, the mortgage is so high, the car payment is so high, power is so high, the house phone bill and cell phone bill is so high, groceries are so high, EVERYTHING is just so high.
He’s a man, suffering from an inner ear medical condition, who’s in mourning over his ex-wife’s suicide and angry and ashamed at the fact that he’s infertile, because one of his goals in life was to have a family of his own. He’s had to close his scuba diving business, because he wasn’t making money and he’s had to stop scuba diving and teaching scuba diving classes, because of his inner ear medical condition. His power gets cut off, his house phone and cell phone service gets cut off, his car gets taken by creditors, and his house is being foreclosed. With all of these problems, instead of telling anyone, he holds it all inside and seeks silence that causes another world to open up around him. Strange things begin to happen that prompts him to investigate the occurrences to find out what’s going on around him; he begins to believe he may be going crazy and starts a battle with himself to stay sane as creepy and strange things continue to happen around him.

Anna Faris & Regina Hall Promise ‘Scary Movie’ Will “Offend Everyone;” New Images Revealed
The Wayans are out to cancel the Cancel Culture with Scary Movie, and the cast assures it will do just that.
“They sort of have an across-the-board style,” Anna Faris tells EW. “It’s always been a part of the Wayans Brothers, their electricity. ‘Can we offend you? Will you still love us? Come on, you still love us, don’t you?'”
Regina Hall concurs, promising the “boundary-pushing” sixth installment in the horror parody franchise will “offend everyone.”
EW has shared a batch of behind-the-scenes images from Scary Movie, which hits theaters June 5 via Paramount.
Faris and Hall are joined by fellow franchise favorites Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, Dave Sheridan, Lochlyn Munro, Cheri Oteri, Chris Elliott, and Jon Abrahams in the legacy sequel.
The ensemble includes Damon Wayans Jr., Gregg Wayans, Kim Wayans, Benny Zielke, Cameron Scott Roberts, Heidi Gardner, Olivia Rose Keegan, Ruby Snowber, Savannah Lee Nassif, Sydney Park, Kenan Thompson, and Felissa Rose.
Michael Tiddes (A Haunted House) directs from a script by Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, original Scary Movie director Keenen Ivory Wayans, Craig Wayans (Scary Movie 2), and Rick Alvarez (A Haunted House).
The film will slash through reboots, remakes, requels, prequels, sequels, spin-offs, elevated horror, origin stories, anything with the word legacy in it, and every “final chapter” that absolutely isn’t final.
Scary Movie launched in 2000, followed by Scary Movie 2 in 2001. The Wayans’ involvement ended there, but the series continued with 2003’s Scary Movie 3, 2006’s Scary Movie 4, and 2013’s Scary Movie 5.
