The "Umbrella Incident" that took place in Raccoon City ended with a missile attack ordered by the government intended to wipe out the deadly zombie virus. Following this catastrophe, the Umbrella Corporation's stock plummeted. This serious blow to the business giant resulted in its complete dissolution.
7 years later, at an airport somewhere in the United States, on an ordinary autumn afternoon, the T-virus is released by bioterrorists. Now, in an airport beginning to fill with the undead, the horrific disaster is about to repeat itself. Claire Redfield, now a member of an NGO supporting victims of bioterrorism and medical disasters, happens to be in the airport while Leon S. Kennedy comes to the site on a mission to take care of the incident.
I'd really like to see CGI animated movies come into their own and become a viable and popular medium. I keep waiting for a movie to come along that will start that ball rolling... this isn't it.
Lame! Lame lame lame lame lame! LAME! Seriously, I cringe watching the cut-scenes in Resident Evil games- and not from the horror, but from the awful voice-acting. This seems to be no exception. Blech.
It looks pretty, but the acting seems overly hammy. I guess that's what Resident Evil is all about though. Also, do my eyes deceive me or is Claire actually wielding a red and white umbrella at one point during the trailer? Is that supposed to be some kind of poetic irony?
Can't wait... the RE series has always been campy, I'm glad the tradition lives on. The day the series(or spinoffs) try to go "serious" is the day the series dies.
I'm a big fan of the Resident Evil franchise. The first 3 movies were really, really, really terrible. They may of had a few aspects of the games but they totally missed out on the true story line. This one atleast keep with the storyline the best it can. Sure the voice acting is kinda bad but atleast it doesn't end the series with an apocalyptic wasteland of pure crap. So this movie might bring alittle fresh air back to the story.
