Last week we first reported on a new indie horror film entitled HORA, which sounded pretty damn promising. At the link we brought you a look at the teaser art, along with a link to the trailer over at the film's official website. Now we've got your first two stills from the film that stars Minken Tveitan (famous soap actress), Jørgen Langhelle (a big actor in Norway), Rudy Claes (a famous dancer), Kenneth Falkenberg, Eik Omedal and Isabel Vibe (a porn star in Scandinavia - pictured inside).
The film follows Rikke, a crime-writer who is working on a new novel and needs to get out of the city to finish it. She visit her mother house in a small town named Dokka to finish her novel, attracting the attention of a number of rowdy male locals, includes a retarded man, a bully and a “American psycho” type of guy. They catch Rikke one day in her house and strip her naked. Rikke is later attacked and attacked and attacked… and this is were the rape stops and the revenge begin.
I agree with Mr. Wilson. I liked this flick better when it was I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE. Besides, rape/revenge flicks had their moment back in the day of the Deuce. Today, we're so desensitized that these films don't have the same affect- nor are they as entertaining or frightening.
