It was revealed to Bloody-Disgusting that Lionsgate's My Bloody Valentine 3D has been given an R-rating by the MPAA for "graphic, brutal horror violence and grizzly images throughout, some strong sexuality, graphic nudity and language." Being directed by Patrick Lussier, it is said that this new 3-D technology is going to be mind-blowing, featuring more depth than ever before. In the remake Tom (Jensen Ackles) returns to his hometown on the tenth anniversary of the Valentine's night massacre that claimed the life of 22 people. Instead of a homecoming, Tom finds himself suspected of committing the murders.
i thought this was relatively old news, but that's ok. it's still GOOD news! i'm SO excited to see this. i hope it's as good as the original (if not better). the original is one of my favorites (even though it was hacked to bits, excuse the pun, by the MPAA!).
"Grizzly" images??? I didn't know bears were in this! :D That made my fuckin day. Really... Sounds fucking intense though! That's freakin worse than the Saw 5 rating...Shit.
Woah!, now thats what I call a rating. Graphic, Brutal Violence, Strong Sex And Graphic Nudity all wrapped up in a 3D package. Hopefully this flick ends up being f*cking awesome because it sure has one of the most hardcore ratings I've ever seen for a horror flick in a while.
Also, to deathwish graphic nudity isn't just boobs, but we'll also be getting some crotch shots or bush. But, now I'm defentially sold. :)
Let's strip the original of everything that made it a thrilling, clever horror film: the human, working class element, the likeable characters, the chilling atmosphere, and let's throw in alot of technology to satiate the iPod generation; we'll make it 3D, load it up with alot of pointless gore and nudity and NO ONE will notice they're watching a piss poor film. Fuck this remake.
ziltoid the omniscient, even though i'm stoked to see this, i agree w/ you that the original had some of the most likeable characters i've ever seen in a horror movie. great casting in the original. i DO like Jensen Ackles so i'm fairly optimistic w/ the remake, but we'll see.

Graphic nudity isnt spread pussy, its a frontal view of cock. They will show cock before pussy everytime. Imagine a giant erect dick in 3D! Now thats fucking scary!

Just wanted to let you know that here in Mexico they're promoting the movie with the bloody poster instead of the watered down version, it sure looks amazing!
