i watched "Sloppy Seconds" yesterday and i was a bit disappointed. it is nowhere near as good as the 1st one and there's a scene involving an infant that is despicable and unnecessary. but the movie (other than baby scene) IS starting to grow on me. i hope part 3 is going to be as good as part 1.
I wasn't impressed with "Sloppy Seconds". Sure, some of the practical effects were fun, but it had none of the wit of the original. The pacing of the film was off and it starting dragging its feet about twenty minutes in. Also, I was disappointed that some of the key characters from the original didn't return. There are a few scenes though (the autopsy, melting Grandmother, the "end") that enjoyed. Simply put, it just wasn't nearly as much fun as the first film. Sadly, I'd say it's even shippable.
I liked Feast 2 and I thought the baby scene was funny as hell. But I think Feast 2 is just the prelude (or the search) to Feast 3, in which Tuffy and Bozo will return (if not, well then goddammit). So far I really love this series.
I cant believe how much people hate this film, i guess that goes with pressures of trying to top an already brilliant horror film, it's inevitable to fail in a sequel, most of the time anyway, but I respected the films ballsy move to change things in a different way like being out in the day time more so, going to places instead of stuck in one, i liked it alot and have watched it already 3 times. great stuff. I just think they should have released 3 along with it, but oh well i gotta wait a little while no big deal.
I think the first is still probably a bit better for what that film was. but if your expecting a black comedy of a horror film i think the film succeeds very well with morbid sense of humor that i was hoping and got with sloppy seconds!
