IFC Acquires Finnish 'Sauna' For VOD

IFC Entertainment has acquired U.S. rights to 16th-century Finnish supernatural thriller Sauna that will be released via IFC’s Festival Direct video-on-demand platform before arriving on DVD. Antti-Jussi Annila's film, about a sinister sauna where sins are washed away, played at Toronto and Sitges film festivals. The film has been receiving mixed reviews, while this reporter thinks the movie is horrible.
