Both Fox Home Entertainment and Warner Home Video have jumped on the bandwagon and pumped out sequels to films they believe could become straight-to-disc franchises. But which of the two are worth checking out? I personally wouldn't waste your time with either (garbage, pure garbage), but what does Bloody-Disgusting reporter BC think? I loved Joy Ride. I thought it was going to be utter shit -- so it was a real pleasant surprise. The sequel looks atrocious and I'm not going to even bother checking it out.
I thought JOY RIDE 2 was great. Like Wrong Turn 2, it's another quality Direct-to-DVD horror sequel. I still prefer the first, but both are great. Rest Stop 2 though was HORRIBLE! And I'm someone who thought the first was decent.
I have Rest Stop 2 on Blu-Ray, but I haven't seen it yet, though.
