You can also check out the fifth Podcast with director Toby Wilkins inside. Now playing on Ultra HDNet Video on Demand is Magnet Releasing's Splinter (review), which also hits theaters on October 31st. To promote the special showing for subscribers, a new five-minute promo was released that not only goes behind-the-scenes, but also features brand new footage from the film that follows a young couple who retreat to the wilderness for a romantic camping weekend-but the trip quickly spirals into a nightmare when they are car-jacked by an escaped convict and his girlfriend. Thrown together by chance, no one can imagine the terrifying horror that awaits the two couples at a remote and isolated gas station. Check it out over at BDTV, click the title for more info on the film.

DBlock, i've heard it's pretty good. go to the IMDB page for it in the forum boards. people have started giving their non-spoiler and spoiler (depends which one you want to read!) reviews. for the most part it's getting GREAT reviews (aside from the shaky cam-ness parts of the movie). i, for one, want to see this SO bad! the monster and what it does to the human body is effing gnarly (in only the best way!).
i guess i'll have to wait for DVD.
djblack1313, I'm starting to have a seething hatred for simpletons who complain about shaky-cam.
