If you click on over to BDTV you can now watch the second full trailer for Return to Sleepaway Camp, which arrives on DVD November 4th from Magnet Releasing. It's summer camp as usual at Camp Manabe where the kids torment each other for fun while the underpaid camp staff provide as little supervision as possible. Greedy camp owner Frank (Vincent Pastore) and junior partner Ronnie (Paul DeAngelo) do their best to keep everyone in line, but something sinister is about to put a slash in the roster. When campers and staff mysteriously begin disappearing and turning into gruesome corpses, paranoid Ronnie can't shake the memory of a series of grisly murders that took place at Camp Arawak where he worked 2 decades ago. Has a "ghost" from the past come back to haunt him?
I agree the trailer doesn't look good at all, however I didn't see the original. Is this supposed to be cheesey horror? That's what I got from the trailer.
I dunno about this, I liked the sequels more than the original. I don't know if I'll like this, but I'll give it a try, but my expectations are extremely low based on the trailers. The cover art is great though.
It looks great! Waaaay better than the original trailer which was slopply put together. This actually looked...how do I say...SCARY.
