The Stars Come Out in Mass For Uni’s Halloween Horror Nights!
What’s quickly becoming one of my favorite days of the year is Universal Studios Hollywood’s opening night for their annual Halloween Horror Nights, which runs all the way through November 1. Last night the event opened with a red carpet walk, the 6th anual Eyegore Awards and then a special treat for the horror journalists… SpookyDan was escorted through the TEXAS CHAINSAW maze with none other than Tobe Hooper, while I had the chance to tour the park and the FRIDAY THE 13th maze with the new Jason Voorhees, Derek Mears, the writers of both the new FRIDAY and FREDDY VS JASON, Damian Shannon and Mark Swift, and one of the teen stars of the remake, Arlen Escarpeta. Warner Bros. Entertainment and DC are getting set to unleash the Batman: Knightfall Trilogy, a 3-movie animated event that will carry a bloody ‘R’ rating. Batman: Knightfall Part 1 has been dated for Digital release on August 25, and the official trailer has arrived.
Gotham’s darkest night is coming…
Batman: Knightfall Part 1: Knightfall finds Bruce Wayne fighting his toughest enemies including Bane. Coming to Digital on August 25, followed by 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD September 8.

The voice cast for Batman: Knightfall features Anson Mount as Batman/Bruce Wayne, Michael Mando as Bane, and Pablo Schreiber as Jean-Paul Valley/Azrael.
Jeff Wamester directed the upcoming first film, which was written by Jeremy Adams. The Knightfall Trilogy adapts the Batman: Knightfall comic book arc from the early 1990s.
Batman: Knightfall Part 1: Knightfall is Rated ‘R’ for “strong bloody violence.”
