It wasnt stated which film it would be prequelling. It will probably be a prequel to The Tribe, and explain why hes a suck head. Doesnt that make a lot more sense than a prequel to the original. Try thinking, it really does make life easier.

The lost boys is one of my favorite vampire movies. IMO there hasn't been too many sound revisions. Although, there are some exceptions.

With Haim attached doing more than a cameo this time, it will rock!

Hopefully a third will make up for the flop of a sequel they made. I am all for the third.

Both movies are putrid piles of excrement.

The Tribe was awful and I'm not interested in the third. The first was one of my favorites from the 80's and should have been left alone.

I'd be surprised to hear anyone standing behind the mess that was Lost Boys 2. I have yet to read one good review, most people, the stars included, have admitted it was a hack job shot for too little money in hopes of banking on the success of the first film without applying any real creative effort to the franchise. While there is no real way to film a prequel with the original actors, they might be able to film a movie that fills in the blanks between the first and second instead.

Prequel? Go back to Rehab Haim. They always seem to have a bed open for you.

As much as The Tribe sucked at least they made a sequel and not a remake!

So basically doing a prequel to THE TRIBE is like saying they fucked up, and want another chance at making part 2.

The Tribe was boring and the only real reason The lost Boys rocked was cause of kiefer and jason.

Maybe they pulled a Phantasm and plan on using old footage from the first one as flashbacks for the third.

FELDMAN WAS GREAT!!!!!! JOEL TOLD ME, HE WON'T DO TRIBE 3, AND IT'S JUST A RUMOR --HAIM--MADE UP, SO THE PRESS GIVES HIM ATTENTION!!!! TRIBE DIDN'T FAIL BECAUSE HAIM WASN'T IN IT. BAD SCRIPT, BAD DIRECTOR, HAIMS COMMENT CAME DIRECT OUT OF OUR REVIEW, AND KIEFER'S INTERVIEW.

Well, considering Mr. Haim's career was in relative obscurity due to his addictions, I think he should feel very blessed to have been in the film at all. He's not exactly a top list actor anymore for those that have watched any documentaries about him or any "behind the music" style shows about him on E! If he didn't like the script, go back to living in obscurity Haim. I liked Lost Boys 2 actually. I thought Feldmen did much better in it. And while I did like the 20 seconds or so of the film showing Haim, feel blessed you were in it Haim, it could have easily been done without you!

What hollywood actor hasnt done drugs? Haim doesnt need rehab, hes just gotta realize its gunna be too late when he gets off the drugs, hes a GREAT actor, just a little bit stupid, but were all stupid, it happens. Plus Lost boys 2, was garbage. If youve seen The two coreys, i wouldve been doing drugs too on that set, that film was complete garbage. Feldman acted horrible for one. If they were going to produce a lost boys 2 film, why the hell wouldnt it be with the original cast. That's just dumb not to do that, EVERYONE loved the original lost boys, and then The Tribe comes out, and totally kills it. Lost boys 3, SHOULD be good, if the rumours are true about bringing back some original cast members, and not just for 2 seconds in the movie. But no matter, Lost boys 1 will always be the best movie, especially the cast they had, it was unforgettable for everyone.
