This evening Bloody-Disgusting attending the red carpet opening night event for Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights, which will be going on through November 1st. While walking around the park we snagged photos of the promotion art being used to promote Joe Johnston's The Wolfman, which arrives in theaters April 3, 2009. In addition, some footage was shown on the tram ride, which features some small glimpses of the Wolfman (benicio del Toro) in action, and concluded with a little face to face homage to ALIENS - interesting to say the least. Read on for the images.
I have a friend who works at MPC in london who are handling the effects and the stuff hes seen says looks half and half, some shots look great such as a scene involving Bencio tied to chair infront of a load of spectators as he begins to change.
But some stuff apparently looks abit shit such as an animatroiic bear that looked so poor it had to be replaced with cgi.
I hope this is amazing, but in the hands of the guy who made Jurrasic park 3 it makes me a little worried
This looks really amazing, I cannot wait for this film. After viewing the leaked trailer footage from comic con I am 100% confident this film will be badass and a new revisioning of the orginal wolfman origin.
This is awesome, I have been dreaming about a werewolf, maybe its a sign, lol, should be cool
