All sorts of interesting news comes in this morning regarding George Miller's Aussie horror film Prey. First, if you click on over to BDTV, you can check out the trailer for the film. Second, an article over at the Daily Telegraph reveals that sexy star Natalie Bassingthwaighte's controversial lesbian shower scene will remain in the final cut of the film (overseas anyways). Lastly, if you click here you can check out dozens of pics from the film that follows three couples, one from the USA and two from Australia, who are about to learn the horrible truth about what happens when your 4WD holiday goes horribly wrong. In the desert, in the night, in the dark.
ok number one nothings controversial about a lesbian scene its been done so many times its tiring uve seen one rug munching scene uve seen em all. secondly the trailer kinda pissed me off due to fact it was long and it practically gives away alot of the movie which makes me not wanna see this movie at all cos it wud be waste of time due to seeing most of it in the trailer and tbh it looks like a crappy 80's cheesy horror movie made for dvd
Lesbian shower scenes were around in the 80's -- nothing new. Australia hasn't had that great of a horror track record (Safety in Numbers, Lost Things) but if it's like WOLF CREEK it could be fantastic!
Keep in mind the trailers are actually sales trailers shown at Cannes, not the "official" movie previews. They were created before any VFX was done too.
Yes; the Aussies gave us Wolf Creek, Undead, and Rogue that were all good. They don't do too many movies down there because it's not easy to film when you're being attacked by snakes, crocs, and poisonous spiders all the time.
Yes coldblood, I am dodging redback spiders, dugongs and blue ringed octopuses as I type this. And I fear to go outside as I will be accosted by the roaming gangs of kangaroos and ninja koalas:)
