Paramount has announced a late-December bow for the Blu-ray release of Paul W.S Anderson's sci-fi/horror cult favorite Event Horizons, which starred the awesome Sam Neill, according to Highdefdigest. Marking its first appearance in high-def, Paramount will debut the Paul W.S. Anderson-directed thriller on December 30 (the studio previously released a special edition DVD version in 2006). There are no tech specs or supplemental details as of yet, but we expect a package comparable to the DVD. In the film from 1997, a rescue crew investigates a spaceship that disappeared into a black hole and has now returned...with someone or something new on-board.
Glad I didn't buy the new special edition three weeks ago...
