Five years after WRONG TURN, actress Eliza Dushku reteams with director Rob Schmidt in The Alphabet Killer, which is based on a true story. Today it was revealed that Anchor Bay Entertainment has acquired the thriller for a limited theatrical release this December before arriving on DVD next year. When police investigator Megan Paige (Eliza Dushku) becomes obsessed with the brutal murder of a young girl named Carla Castillo in the town of Churchville, her failure to catch the killer leads to a nervous breakdown. Two years later she emerges as a shadow of her former self. When the killer strikes Wendy Walsh from Webster, Megan is back on the case, determined to bring the culprit to justice.
Trailer looks kinda stupid. If Anchor Bay insists on going theatrical, why don't they advertise it? Behind the Mask made less than 20,000 opening weekend on 100 screens (didn't even last through the second weekend). Hatchet did well because of all the undeserved hype... How do they expect to profit from this?
wasnt this trailer on here awhile back? looks alil familiar to me. but anywhoo that one kid looks familiar...what other movies has she stared in?....i agree with ya blood they should advertise it more . this film kinda reminds me of the zodiac killer.
