While this film sounds nothing like a horror film (unless you're a chick), it still has the potential to go in that direction. Brad Furman (The Take) is set to direct VALET for Alcon Entertainment, which begins lensing in early '09. The story, penned by Alan McElroy with a rewrite by Matthew Aldrich, is inspired by a true story stemming from a parking attendant who became obsessed with a female customer and systematically inserted himself into her life. Warner Bros. Pictures will be releasing the thriller.
It sounds like the film will go a different route than P2 (the film will actually leave the car park and the parking attendant will stalk her?) and it will end up being a cross between P2 and Alone With Her.
