Not all that interesting news comes in via Variety this evening as Elliott Lester has been tapped to direct BLITZ, the feature adaptation of Ken Bruen's police thriller, which centers on a serial killer who's aiming for tabloid immortality by executing cops in southeast London. The film is being made for Lionsgate U.K., Donald Kushner and Brad Wyman. Production's expected to begin early next year. The screenplay was written by Nathan Parker (Moon).
