This morning JoBlo posted the first TV Spot for Saw V, which can be found beyind the break along with a pretty sweet French teaser poster. Lionsgate's latest installment of the popular franchise will arrive in theaters October 24th. Directed by David Hackl, Hoffman is seemingly the last person alive to carry on the Jigsaw legacy. But when his secret is threatened, Hoffman must go on the hunt to eliminate all loose ends.
i'm glad they're not showing too much
otherwise it'll be like the Double Jeopardy trailer where you already know what's going to happen---besides its usually suprising with saw--they haven't let me down so far
Ok... OH.. IT LOOKS AS IF GOOD OL SETH...DOESNT MAKE IT.. MAYBE THE PENDULUM TRAP GETS HIM HUH....
I AGREE.. I DONT LIKE THE POSTER>>>
LOVE THE TRAILER THOUGH...
For the people who can't read what's on the French poster, it just simply says, translated into English; "You really thought it was over?"
That's it.. Good, secretive trailer, but I agree with most people out here, about the poster..
It [the poster] doesn't make any sense, and I'm only referring to the back and the hands tied..
I just watched the end of Saw 1 again and realised that when Jigsaw stands up to reveal himself, he told Adam where the key to his chains was.
At this point, does Jigsaw know the key went down the drain? And, even if the key was still there, why would he let Adam undo his chains? Jigsaw obviously didn't have any intention of letting Adam go because he still locked him in the bathroom thereafter.
Can anyone clarify this?
DON'T give me a "Just go watch the sequels, then you'll find out"-answer!!
@Sold My Soul to the Devil: First off, what a long name lol. As for your question, I think that is left open to interpretation to be honest. Personally, I think he told Adam because Adam lived through the test (remember Jigsaw doesn't directly kill anyone and leaving him in there without telling them the key was in there would have been direct murder). There's no evidence the door was locked, just shut. He probably realized it was gone by Adam's facial expression and that's when he called "Game over".
Hmmmmm, i love saw to death... but not so sure about the poster, it's not a real use of organs or libs like the others to spell out the roman numeral, but then i guess saw 4 ddin't even have any limbs or organs, just the medical equiptment laid out to spell IV which i thoguht was really effective, i think they should do like 5 jigsaw pieces cut out of the skin... that would be awesome...
the clip was freaking awsome loved it i am a hardcore saw fan he doesn't kill his them they kill them selfs also if u where pay attention in 4 you would realized that dective hoffmen has been the one working with John Kramer all along the reason why i say this is because when u think about it after 4 it makes since look at it like this if hoffmen was working with John Kramer it would explain why he wasn't caught till the 2 movie also would make since in the story line this movine is going to be awsomw IF ITS HOLWEEN ITS SAW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Man I cant tell u how happy I am that these muhfuckas got a brand new, more INTENSE REVEALING trailer to put on tv than the theater preview. I wonder who lookin at Seth (before or after he is filleted) and why did "Meagon Good God She Fine" (my name for her) shout NOT YET!!! Set Up.
Here's another question, Hurmoth.. Try answering this ..
Who could have possibly have given Adam an electric shock, when their (Adam's and Lawrence's) time was over? Mr Hindle, - or in JigSaw's own words -, "Zepp, as they called him in the hospital", LOL – was in the car driving / trying to escape from Det. Tapp, or Danny Glover, what-ever ...
JigSaw was (still) lying on the floor, playing dead..
So ... Who could have possibly have given Adam an electric shock??
I know, I could go on and on and on with these little inconsistencies, like Mark wearing no shoes, and in the next scene, he does, and the first SAW-movie contains a lot more of those little 'errors', if you like, but I won't go on and on..
They're just minor things, details, that's all..
Don't get it twisted, however, I am and will always stay one of the most huge, biggest SAW-fans..
It's just one of those things, we as SAW-fans must figure out ourselves or just leave it the way it is..
cough cough ** "The infamous SAW-mystery about Dr Lawrence Gordon .. Alive and kicking or dead due to blood-loss" ** cough cough
What was the fate of Dr. Gordon?
After cutting off his foot, Dr. Gordon was freed from his shackle and told Adam he would go find help. We never find out what happened to him after that.

Some fans beleive that given the large amount of blood he must have been losing, and the fact that Adam was never rescued, it is most likely that he died before he could do anything.

Not to mention that Jigsaw would have also passed him on the way out after he locked Adam in the room. Even though Jigsaw never physically killed anyone he could have done a number of things to ensure that Dr. Gordon didn't make it out.

Many other viewers believe that Dr Gordon survived, and either escaped on his own or had Johns help.

There were boiling hot pipes right outside the room that Gordon, being a surgon would have known would help his wound.

It's possible that Jigsaw admired how he cut off his own foot probably because he didn't expect him to actually do it so he let him try to survive. You never know. The fate of Dr.Gordon is believed to become know in the 5th or 6th movie.
John lying there for over more than 6 hours.. I know he injected himself with some kind of drug, in order to slow down his heart-beat so that he was able to appear to be dead, but even so, he still has to breathe, doesn't he? If the two guys were bricklayers or something it would have been a lot more plausable, but Gordon was - fcol - a doctor..!!! Surely he would be able to tell if someone was breething or not! Even with muscle relaxants I imagine some movement would be seen as he breathed in and out because every time you breathe, the diaphram lifts causing slight movements in the shoulder and of course his back would rise slightly. He must have held his breath during the close-ups but for all the time he was lying there I would think they would have detected * some * movement
Oh well... Fuck me ..
" There's no evidence the door was locked, just shut. "
Here you go; (this is my reply)
Even if Adam had the key from the beginning, he would not have been able to get out, b/c the door opened from the outside not the inside. ..
HOW
U
LIKE
THAT?
LOOK AT THE CLIP CLOSELY not that it wasn't inevitable since the game was inescapable, but the new seth character was clearly cut in half. You can see the blood sort of rushing in the blurred peephole shot
OMFG I can't wait!!!!
