Wait...wasn't there another one named The Substitute, too? With Tom Berenger.

You know, us Americans just can't read subtitles, so we need a remake of everything not in our language.......

I was hoping it was a remake of the Berenger film. With aliens. Maybe post-Berenger Treat Williams could pop in as a cameo "alternative universe" Substitute. I have no idea what I'm talking about anymore.

Is it just me! Or does that weird looking girl in the picture look like sarah michelle gellar.

But the original was soooo good! No one can replace the girl that played the substitute! She was AMAZING!!!

This movie sounds awesome. I have yet to see the original. One of my favorite books in elementary school was Bruce Coville's "My Teacher is an Alien", where a student Susan finds out that the substitute teacher is an extraterrestrial that has the regular teacher trapped in suspended animation. It was an awesome book on its own. The rest of the series strayed over to a different tone (still good overall, but left the creepy hysteria).
