Here's a new release update that we missed last week. Warner Bros. Pictures has slated Jaume Collet-Serra's Orphan for release on November 6, 2009. The film was tested last night in Los Angeles, no word yet on how it went. Peter Sarsgaard, Vera Farmiga, Isabelle Fuhrman, Lorry Ayers, David Leonard and Skye Peters all star in the film that's about Kate Coleman, a Young mother devastated by the loss of a baby, (and her resulting inability to conceive more children), and decides-along with her husband, John to fill the empty space in their broken hearts by adopting another child. Little could they know that the child they adopt, Esther, would turn out to be anything other than what they hoped for. Jaume Collet-Serra directed the HOUSE OF WAX remake for SIlver Pictures and WB.

Juame did an EXCELLENT job w/ House of Wax. so i think he could do a great job w/ this film (even though it sounds pretty much the same as The Omen).
