Now this is what I call a poster! This mornoing Magnet Releasing provided Bloody-Disgusting with the final official one sheet for Toby Wilkins' Splinter (review), which will hit limited theaters on October 31. The film is set in and around a quiet gas station on a lonely freeway, where a terrifying virus-like monster inhabits the bodies of its victims and drives them with a relentless lust for blood. The virus monster twists the bodies of its prey into the shapes best suited to carry out its unrelenting desire to infect more victims and kill again. Underwhelming poster. When you see how the "splinters" look in the final film, it makes these quickly-Photoshopped ones look really sub-par. Too bad it couldn't have had the same striking visuals as the finished film.
i don't care for this poster. i actually like the other poster with the red/maroon and the splinters framing it. it's awesome! here's a link for it:
