Here's something interesting that was sent to us this morning to help promote this year's Sitges Film Festival. If you head on over to Teaserland, you can check out a faux trailer for the fifth EXORCIST film, which was directed by [REC] co-director Jaume Balagueró. This is only the first as numerous other directors will lend their talent for fake film trailers in the coming week.
Technically "Dominion: Prequel to the Exorcist" doesn't count, since "Exorcist: The Beginning" was filmed as its replacement. As far as the fake trailer goes, it looks like it was shot on video and the Spanish subtitles certainly don't help the believablility of the trailer. You'd think that Jaume would at least attempt to make it look like a sequel to the last film. Instead it looks like a Spanish Exorcist ripoff.
Im confused.Is it a fake trailer for a fake movie?
