Inside you can check out a batch of new stills from the quasi-zombie film, which feature some of the first real "infected" shots from the film brought to you by the Dowdle bros. (The Poughkeepsie Tapes). QUARANTINE is a remake of the Spanish film [REC], whcih already has a sequel in development.

I find it absolutely hysterical that they have the final final scene of the movie as the movie promo poster.

It's not really a spoiler...unless you've seen the movie. What spoils it is when someone points out the spoiler. Then it is truly spoiled.

The ending of the remake is totally different to the original ending, Grime. The director Dowdle said that dozens of time.

Speaking of spoilers, how do you know that is the end of the movie? Because it was the end in the original? That doesn't mean this is a shot for shot remake.

Seeing the original and then seeing the trailer for the remake makes it look like a shot-for-shot remake. It looks like the exact same film, minus one or two shots.

I don't know but in the trailer the guys in the beginning hear something and someone says "What was that?", and it sounded like a yell or groan. It would be completely Hollywood-like ending of the chick survived.

There's no way this film can top [REC], it's the second best film of the year, no doubt. The camera isn't still for a second and people who got motion sickness from Cloverfield will vomit while viewing [REC]. It is THE BEST mockumentray since Cannibal Holocaust. It may even be the best.

It looks a little cheesy.

Rec is the best horror mockumentary ever. This is no disrespect to Cannibal Holocaust, The Last Broadcast, The Blair Witch Project, Cloverfield, Diary of the Dead, ect ect. Those were all great, but Rec just nails it the best. Mabey someday we'll get to see the much hyped Poughkeepsie Tapes or the even bigger hyped original version of Paranormal Activity. Until then - Rec rules. They should have just released Rec over here with subtitles like they did The Orphanage.

well, being a fan of REC, im excited for this one. while it does look like a shot for shot remake ( with a couple of new things), i get the feeling they are only using that to trick people who saw REC, so when they see this one they will be surprised. idk, just a theory... oh by the way, for all u people out there who are complaining about the trailer ruining the ending, why the F**K wud you say that?? the trailer didnt ruin the ending, YOU GUYS DID!!! no one new it was the ending and u guys had to blab about it. thanks A**HOLES! plus dont u think they might change the ending, to add more shock value to those who have seen it?

if the ending of this movie is half as creepy as the original, then it won't matter. besides, most poeple in the U.S. haven't even heard of [REC] let alone have seen it. it's got subtitles...americans don't like subtitles.

I hope this is better than the original I didn't really like that one I think mainly because Spanish is my native language..I don't know?? Saying that the end scenes were really strong & creepy.

Why do I feel that REC is going to be better than this, even though I had to read subtitles throughtout the whole movie.

by the way.... even if it is a carbon copy of REC, it will probably be ell recieved by audiences and critics since theyve never seen the original...

I hope they change it at least a little. If i was going to watch a remake id like to be suprised because once youve seen it and you know whats coming it kind of ruins it. I dunno... To remake a movie that just came out, shot for shot(and im not saying the remake will be shot for shot because i dont know), in a different language just because people are too lazy to read subtitles is lame and a waste of money. But i guess as far as remakes go it does look like theyre doing a good job.
