Back in late June it was reported that Jon and Erich Hoeber were writing a new draft for American McGee's Alice, which was no longer at Universal Pictures. It was also noted that Marcus Nispel was no longer attached and that Sarah Michelle Gellar was now out as well. Today a new update comes in via Kotaku who reports that the latest draft is now complete and they hope to announce a new studio very soon. That's it for now, but hopefully we'll finally get to see this sucker by 2009 (please!).
Sarah Michelle is awesome, but too old for the part. isn't the role supposed to be for a teenager? If anyone, how about that girl from Juno and Hardcandy? At least she looks young enough and is a great actor as well.
Wow I haven't heard any on this in FOREVER.This is one of two horror films I stalked for years (the other Being the new Sleepaway Camp). Hopefully it will embrace an R rating because the game was fucked up and so should the movie. Not necessarily violent, but extremely dark..dark, dark, dark, dark.....dark.
ya know i never thought of it but ellen page would do a great job. and she has some action back ground too.as a director how about who ever did silent hill?
