BD Horror News - Latest Casting For Third 'Butterfly Effect'

Now that the official website for January's After Dark Horrorfest has launched, all sorts of information has been spilling onto the web. This evening it was discovered that Rachel Miner (Tooth & Nail, Penny Dreadful) and Melissa (Miss Horrorfest 2007) Jones will join the previously announced (here on B-D) Chris Carmack and Sonya A. Avakian in Seth Grossman's The Butterfly Effect: Revelation. In the film arriving in theaters January 2, 2009, a young man discovers he has inherited the powers of "The Butterfly Effect" and attempts to solve the mystery of his high school girlfriend's death using his newfound ability, only to unwittingly unleash a vicious serial killer.

CJ, i agree w/ you. Rachel is a really good actress (even though i couldn't stand her whiny/crying character in Penny Dreadful).

Horrorfest, although some films weren't that good, started off well...Now, all I can think about when I see the logo is "On the Sci-Fi channel in 2 months." It was also cooler to see the movies unrated in theaters in the first year (they were rated by the time they hit DVD) and how they claimed to show horror we "weren't" meant to see...Now they get the films rated and I wouldn't be surprized to see a PG-13 hit the shit fest in the near future..
