Earlier today we brought you the full synopsis for Drew McWeeny and Scott Swan's Bat Out of Hell, which will be helmed by the great Joe Dante (Gremlins, Piranha, The Howling). Adding more fuel to the fire we've scored a look at the sales poster for the film, which centers on a red-eye flight from L.A. to New York during which hijackers confront the monstrous cargo. Read on to check it out.

The poster looks almost like a Night Flier sequel. I love it.

I really wish they would start working on a different title... they can't use it because Meat Loaf and Jim Steinman own the rights to it for all entertainment type things. They wouldnt even allow victor Salva to use it as the SUBTITLE for Jeepers 2. Cant say I blame them either, it's completely associated with them at this point. When they first announced the title everyone thought it was a 'meat loaf movie'. It may be a common phrase, but like Dark side of the moon or whatever, it's forever linked to the music.

Looks like campy fun! Suck that the title is copyrighted...Can't believe you can own rights to common phrases...well...somewhat common.
