The first of Magnet Releasing's "Six-Shooter Series" is Tomas Alfredson's Let the Right One In (review), which will be arriving in New York and Los Angeles theaters on October 24th. Today we were provided with the official poster for the film, which can be found inside. In the pic, a fragile, anxious boy, 12-year-old Oskar is regularly bullied by his stronger classmates but never strikes back. The lonely boy’s wish for a friend seems to comes true when he meets Eli, also 12, who moves in next door to him. But Eli’s arrival coincides with a series of gruesome deaths and attacks. Though Oskar realizes that she's a vampire, his friendship with her is stronger than his fear... Swedish filmmaker Tomas Alfredson weaves friendship, rejection and loyalty into a disturbing, darkly atmospheric, yet unexpectedly tender tableau of adolescence.
Great poster even though the original was much better. I can´t wait for this movie, awesome to finally see a horror movie in Swedish(lived there for a couple of years) and this could be one of the best of the year if not of the decade. Loved the trailer and other poster too! Bring it on!
This is a fantastic movie and deserves a much, much better poster. Who got paid to come up with such a boring design for such a wonderful looking movie?
it's genuinely great (saw it at the Edinburgh Film Festival) and deserves all the praise it's getting
