This morning we got our hands on the official UK quad for Lionsgate's Saw V, which hits the US and UK on October 24th. In the fifth installment of the popular SAW franchise, Hoffman is seemingly the last person alive to carry on the Jigsaw legacy. But when his secret is threatened, Hoffman must go on the hunt to eliminate all loose ends.
Totally agree with you Frankzito... If they don't ever have any other trailer than the one right now i'm going to be upset. It's a pretty shitty trailer- tells you nothing.
dood why havent we gotten a clip, new trailer.by this time last year we wouldve gotten more promotion.and when r we gonna get a REAL premise unlike the synopsis.cause i have a feeling that there is much more to the movie than that.like last year when we thought 4 was a continuation of 3 and jeff has to find his daughter

Release dates for saw the game on x box 360, play station 3, and PC if you go to a game stop store or reserve a copy at www.gamestop.com I Hope The Game Is Good
I dislike both the tag line and the logo. Why the tag-line? Apart from being as predictable and cheesy as the ones in the 80's Krueger films it gives the impression that this is the final chapter to the SAW films yet we all know it is NOT. Again its like all those misleading "final" chapters in the Firday 13'th and Nightmare movies IMO yet this time its even worse cause they already have a script and cast for VI
This hasn't got much to do with this topic, but I read on a few sites, that Tobin said 'he wouldn't be surprised if Cecil came back into the picture' .. As a flash-back of course ... ..
Oh yeah, almost forgot ..
" so fucking what ? you waste net space showing this ? idiots " .... WTF is wrong with the retart who posts messages like this .. You're talking to yourself or what???!!
Since you seem to have no life at all, why don't you just make an end to your little, pathetic life already??
I mean, no-one would miss your ass ..
Fucking pitiful chump.. You're such a sad case ..
A possible idea for a trap; A person is standing on a treadmill with their hands locked in two vices. There's a bomb programmed into the treadmill and the object of the game is simple...Keep running until the timer completes. When the timer completes, the bomb is de-activated and the vices release you.
The treadmill starts off slow and gradually gets faster as time progresses. If you can keep running for, let's say, an hour, you live. If not, you're f**ked.
It's so simple but yet cruel, b/c after a while the person will get so tired that they will just stop running and explode.
The man would most likely be a lazy, overweight victim... OR perhaps, instead of a bomb he had some part of his body connected to the front of the treadmill, without sides of the treadmill and no way to jump off. If he stops running he falls to the back of the treadmill and the part of his body is pulled off.. His hands could be in those things that Addison had her hands in?
Ofcourse the whole idea ISN'T that we're supposed to be watching a man running for 60 minutes.. LOL.. No, it would rather be like the game, John had to play..I believe it's called "Razor Wire-trap"(??); we would only see flashes of it. I like this, I think this would be 1 hell of an awesome game ... ;-) :-0 :-0
Here's what I'm interested in seeing; How they're going to explain what happened to Strahm in between Hoffman leaving the warehouse, to him, going to the autopsy... Here's why...
Tobin Bell's body is obviously still fresh and not decomposed during the autopsy, so his body must have been found not too long after he was killed and Hoffman left the warehouse... And if you remember, on the unrated DVD, Strahm calls for back-up before going into the warehouse, which means help was on the way. Hence why Tobin told Jeff; "I can have an amubulance here in 4 minutes".. He somehow KNEW for a fact, help would be coming.
If help was on the way, and Strahm called for back-up... And Tobin's body was found not too long after he died, then when exactly could Strahm's trap possibly take place??! It obviously MUST take place in the same place as "Saw III" and at or during the end of IV, and it must've happened right after the events of IV, b/c Strahm is still wearing his button-shirt with Perez's blood on it... So my point is... H?w in the w0rld would someone have time to A) open the sick-room (especially if Hoffman had the key), B) kidnap Strahm without getting shot (remember, he's armed and ready for anything that might come at him), and C) set up his trap, and give him enough time to get out before "help" arrives...
Look, SAW always manages to mess with the timeline's in ways I never expect and - somehow, in their own genius way - pull it off well without messing up the story line... I'd like to see how they do it in this one... That would be all .. :) (:
I've been wondering ... what if "Saw V" sucks worse than IV did? Don't get me wrong, I can't hardly wait and am also, if I may use sdcl44's word 'pumped'!!! But I mean .. Would you, like, STILL go see VI, if this one will suck more than IV??
Just wondering ..
This is my idea of what the tape would say, at Strahm's trap; {Hence picture}
"Hello Strahm. I want to play a game. Do you think I should have given up after the fourth installment? What? What's that? I died at the end of the third / fourth and you want to know how I'm still here? It's all flashback's you see. From here on out, it's nothing but flashbacks."
Wow...its been a year since I last graced BD wit my presence. Anyway, I been sittin here since last month waitin for the right time to jump back into the Saw swing of things. The time is now./////. Ok, Saw V is prolly gonna be an improvment from IV. IV wasnt horrible but it could've been better. Darren didnt go out wit a bang but it made somewat of an impact. Well let me comment on comments. Not the haters cuz they dont matter. At all. Shouts out to GNUOY ADNAMA for holdin it down while i was gone, but I have to address some stuff I've read here and in other forums. I wish IV had picked up where III had left off, wit Jeff needin to play a game to get Corbett. Instead, maybe Strahm will have to play that game, wateva it was, to get her back. Strahm wont have a prob wit that; she's a child, and he's a cop. That will prolly expalin why in the new pics, he's changed clothes and wat not. Maybe he will survive, but in the chats wit the actors and makers of this movie, they say the ppl we expect to live...not a chance, so I dont know. Me personally, i hope Strahm lives. Rigg should make an appearance in V, shot up and all. Dont kno who all has seen it, but at the end of IV in a deleted/bonus scene, Hoffman walks outside the Gideon factory into the arms of damn near the entire police force and says everyone is dead, like he was the last man standing or somethin. I kno Rigg got shot wit the .357 in the arm, but hey, its the arm. When u kno someone die from gettin shot in the arm? Anyway, someone is gonna go lookin for Strahm (or his body since Hoffman says everyone's dead) bcuz he made the call for them to come lookin. Thats just an idea. Saw writters dont always use previously pending storyline directions (i.e. Amanda killin Eric Matthews in the hallway after "you're nothin bitch!" and the alternate endin to Saw 4 where Rigg doesnt kick in the door and kill Mattews but Eric dies anyway and Hoffman whispers some shockin info in his ear b4 leaving and Riggs turns the corner to chase after him and Strahm shots him (work sited: Wikipedia). So V could go a number of directions. Especially wit a whole new writter, an aim at the original Saw(s) wit teamwork, and a supposed Big Bang Finale wit not one but two amazing twists (thought up by a 7yr old no less). By the way GNUOY ADNAMA, the Treadmill Trap u "thought" of, already happened, in an episode of Family Matters. Yep, Carl Winslow and his partner had a bomb in their weight room treadmill and they took turns runnin. Nice try tho. But back to Saw. Strahm is still in his Perez blood spattered shirt while preparin to drown in a foot of water. The pic wit him in the leather jacket might be a flashback or upcomin scene. I dont kno wat he'll have to do to get outta the box but all in all, its a nice idea, especially if he, or ppl in the audience, has a fear of drowning. Good stuff. The guy layin down wit the tatts on the table is in the Pendulum Trap and is prolly gonna die cuz when he crushes his hands to release himself and stop the Pendulum from cuttin him in 1/2, it starts back. That might be the openin trap. Damn, in the midst of me havin so much to say, I've grown sleepy. School @ 8:30. til next time Sawed Offs (my name for us Saw fans).
Would you stop watching the SAW-series and burn all the DVD's, if 1 of the twists is that JigSaw had a twin-brother, and his twin is continuing the work..??
Would you throw alll the DVD's away and scorn the name of the SAW-series forever..??
I mean .. That WOULD BE, without a doubt, most certainly, the suckiest, most dumb, most stupid, etc. etc., idea of a plot-twist I've ever seen or heard of!.. BUT ... I highly doubt the writers would be that stupid.. ** would they?¿ :-0 :-0 **
Look, to me, OF COURSE I would be pissed-off, but it wouldn't detract from the previous movies, therefore, I would just hate the last movie.. That's like loving a TV-show/series, but hating THE WHOLE SERIES, just b/c 1 or 2 episode's sucked... Pretty idiotic, right?? E.g. {1 of} my top-fave. shows = Pri50n Br34k and there's been some not-so-great ep's, but I still love the show, I just avoid the episodes I don't like...Got it??
Okay, here's another qustion;
What are youre thoughts about Det. Hoffman?
I mean .. Do you think he's 'good' or 'not so good'?
Do you REALLY think he's another apprentice of JigSaw, or do you think he's 'playing his own game', like Zepp or RiggS??
There's plenty to suggest he's an unwilling accomplice, but also plenty to say he isn't one ..
E.g.; A) he was friends with RiggS for years, but after RiggS fails, Hoffman says "Game Over", none too kindly, rather than try to help RiggS out or @ least get medical attention for him... or WHAT THE F*** EVER ..
B) He locked the door on Strahm and walked away all funny and stuff ..
C) You can clearly tell by Hoffmans' expression, when he listens to the tape-recording, that he's, well. ..'Kinda uneasy with what he's hearing'... {!!)
Look, almost every SAW-fan-site lists him as "an apprentice to JigSaw, right next to Amanda." Now, don't get me wrong b/c the SAW-franchise is twisted - but not THAT twisted...Right?? AND the queston... Why would a Forensics-Expert help {someone like} JigSaw??!! If ANYTHING, Hoffman should have arrested John on the spot, IF they were to meet up..Just explain to me on WHY in the w0rld, a Forensics would help JigSaw.. ..
btw ... how the f*** can u call ur-self 'a true SAW-fan', if on almost EVERY BD-board, u claim to h8 the 4th movie??
that 4th movie u h8 on so much, is better nd more interesting than ur whole life ..
