We were just sent a link to an article over at the Santafe, which details star Galen Hutchison's upcoming Hollywood rise. In the article a new behind-the-scenes photo appeared from the set of J.T. Petty's The Burrowers (trailer), which will have its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival this week. Inside you'll find the photo, along with a new look at one of the creatures from the film. After a family is brutally murdered in their home, a group of ranchers and infantry men embark on a crusade to find the killers. When a mysterious killer attacks their ranks, they discover that carnivorous creatures are hiding beneath the surface of the earth waiting to feed on their flesh. Looks like a cross between Tremors and Bleeders.

I would have to say a cross between Tremors and The Descent. The creatures look a bit pale.

ofcousre its pale, it lives under ground and comes up a night, so naturally it would be pale. this reminds me of a old flick called boogins.

Give it time and The Boogens, (which in my opinion is an underrated and pretty good flick) will get The remake treatment.

The creature looks small, so I'm guessing there are quite a few of them in the film in order to be considered a real threat to the characters.

Wow, two Boogens references? Awesome little flick, even Stephen King admitted to being a fan. Anyway, this movie looks like it could be interesting, let's hope it is!

I'm reminded of Dead Birds.
