Crypt or evil dead 2 were my first thoughts as well. Not strong enough for a whole movie. It's just a zombie flick with one whole zombie.

i thought Wendigo (2001) wasn't bad for a cheapo - ok the monster was kinda lame but the film built up some great atmosphere. but too right this monster is v average and it stars Dean Cain – surely a bad sign
