Not only have we scored the first official image from Stewart Hopewell's SLAUGHTER (formerly FAITHLESS), we also learned that film stars Antonia Bernath, Craig Robert Young, Lucy Holt, Maxim Knight, Amy Shiels, C.J. Singer and Cristi Hogas. Playing in this January's AFTER DARK HORRORFEST III, the film follows a young woman trying to escape an abusive past by moving to Atlanta, but discovers more cruelty awaits her. wow what a great plot description afterdark gave us. that really makes me want to see it when it comes out. the "poster" is pretty cool--but it needs blood.
Each HORRORFEST has had some gems and some dogs. I'm going to read the early reviews more carefully, but I still plan on going to some of their movies.

The only two I saw in the Theater was "Dark Ride" from Horrorfest 1 and "Lake Dead" from Horrorfest 2. I also felt those two were the best films. I absolutely HATED "The Deaths of Ian Stone", it was too full of CGI crappiness...and the only one I haven't seen yet is "Reincarnation" from the first Horrorfest. I'm just not a big fan of Japanese Horror...this one looks o.k. though and I look forward to hearing more about the other titles!
