Ever since NATURAL BORN KILLERS hit the big screen, CHEERS favorite Woody Harrelson has been a favorite of mine. After starring in Brad Anderson's TRANSSIBERIAN, Harrelson is moving deeper into genre territory as he is now set to bash some brains and battle zombies. The actor has signed on to star in the horror comedy Zombieland, which Ruben Fleischer is directing for Columbia Pictures. Written by the team of Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, the film revolves around a mismatched pair of survivors who find friendship and redemption in a world overrun by zombies. Harrelson plays one of the men, a zombie fighter named Albuquerque.
NBK is my most favorite movie of all time, Woody harelson is the man always have been a big fan. this movie should be interesting to watch, is this a straight to dvd movie though? my only concern is that horror comedies get a little repetative, (i.e scary movie)i just hope that its not a slap happy adaption to the horror/comedy genre.
