Coming in the near future from The Weinstein Company is the French sci-fi horror film Dante 01, which we've been covering a lot this past year. This evening we got our hands on a stack of new stills from the movie, which look pretty damn creepy. DANTE is set in a space prison where a prisoner with monstrous powers is infecting other inmates. This kinda reminds me of Sarah Connor getting ready to pump Dr. Silberman "full of this shit!" in 'Terminator 2: Judgement Day'. It looks like that dude is holding himself a syringe full of Herbert West's freaky fluid.
The stills actually look pretty dark. Does anyone else see how it could become like "The Thing", with all the prisoners attacking each other, tying each other up, trying to find the infected prisoner? Not that it couldn't be pretty sweet anyway.
Saw it yesterday.

It's a huis-clos. It's dark, organic and christic. An experience.
Marc Caro was co-directing movies with Jean-Pierre Jeunet (the director of Alien 4) a few years ago. There is something "Alien 4" in it. You should watch Delicatessen (1991)if you're interested in this director.
